MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: HAT TRICK FOR DOMINOES AT MOTEGI
The MotoGP World Championship head to Motegi for the sixteenth round of the season, the first one of the long flyaway (Japan, Australia and Malaysia).
Another weekend of great success for Domino with the podium in all three categories.
In Moto3 Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing) and Darryn Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) got the second and the third step of the podium at the end a thrilling final fight with Bezzecchi. Fifth place for John McPhee (CIP - Green Power), who got the second time in qualifying. Tony Arbolino (Marinelli Rivacold Snipers) finished sixth, Enea Bastianini (Leopard Racing) seventh and Ayumu Sasaki (Petronas Sprinta Racing) ninth.
Incredible hat trick in Moto2 with the extraordinary victory of Francesco Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46), the second place of Lorenzo Baldassarri (Pons HP40) and the third of Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo). The race saw Fabio Quartararo (Speed Up Racing) crossing the finish line as first, but the disqualification for an anomaly in the rear tyre pressure gave the victory to Pecco. Thanks to this win he has 37 points of advantage on Oliveria in the standing. In the top ten: Alex Marquez (EG 0.0 Marc VDS) fourth, Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) fifth, Augusto Fernandez (Pons HP40) sixth, Luca Marini (SKY Racing Team VR46) ninth.
Finally podium in MotoGP too, with the incredible third position of Alex Rins. Team Suzuki Ecstar rider led a careful race, managing to conquer an important podium in Suzuki’s home race.
Next round of the MotoGP World Championship is this weekend at Phillip Island Circuit, Australia.
