SUPERBIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: LAST ROUND IN QATAR
Last thrilling show of the Superbike World Championship at the Losail International Circuit, Qatar.
Ruler in Supersport category, Lucas Mahias took the pole position on Friday. Despite torrential rain, Mahias ruled Qatar race taking an emphatic win in difficult conditions and securing second place in the final championship standings to sign off from his 2018 campaign. Thanks to this result GRT Yamaha Official WorldSSP Team wins the WorldSSP Team Title. Federico Caricasulo joined his teammate on the podium, after a remarkable recovery from what was a difficult weekend saw him claim a superb third place at the chequered flag.
