ENDURO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: DOMINO RULER AT ITALIAN GP
Amazing weekend for Domino at the Italian GP, sixth round of the Enduro World Championship, raced on August 31st, September 1st and 2nd in Edolo, Brescia.
A tough race due to the heavy rain, but Domino riders confirmed their technical and competitive performance.
In E2 class Alex Salvini, with the Husqvarna FE 450 4T of Jolly-Zanardo Team, on Sunday got an outstanding victory redeeming himself from the bad luck of the first day. In fact on Saturday he was forced to the withdraw while he was fighting for the podium, because of some water in the gasoline. Thanks to Sunday's victory, Salvini maintained the leadership in E2 class, but he unfortunately moved second in the EnduroGP. Same inconvenience for his teammate, the English Joe Wootton, who on Sunday got the third step of the podium in Junior EJ2 class.
In E1 class Manuel Monni, with the Suzuki-Valenti of Team Lunigiana, got one seventh and one eighth position.
Fifth and eighth positions for the young Claudio Spanu with the Husqvarna TE 125 2T of Team Osellini.
Next round of the Enduro World Championship is on September 22nd-23rd in France.
