MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: DOUBLE WIN FOR DOMINO AT CATALUNYA GP
After an Italian Grand Prix full of satisfactions, this weekend Domino goes to the track at Montmelò, near Barcelona, for the Gran Premi de Catalunya, seventh round of the MotoGP World Championship.
At the end of a tough weekend with radiant sunshine and high temperatures, once again Domino’s riders ruled the races gaining important results.
In Moto3 class affected by a lot of crashes, poleman Enea Bastianini (Leopard Racing) got his first seasonal victory at the end of a hard-fought race. Second position for an outstanding Gariel Rodrido: RBA BOE Skull Rider rider was mocked on the finish line by Bezzecchi, who stole him the second position just for 3 thousandths of a second. Fourth position for John Mc Phee (CIP - Green Power), fifth for Tatsuzki Suzuki (Sic58 Squadra Corse), sixth for Kaito Toba (Honda Team Asia) and eight for Alonso Lopez (Estrella Galicia 0.0).
Amazing victory in Moto2 too, with the first success of the rookie Fabio Quartararo. Beta Tools - Speed Up Racing’s poleman was the protagonist of a fairy tale, winning in front of Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and Alex Marquez (EG 0.0 Marc VDS). In the top ten also Brad Binder, sixth with KTM, Lorenzo Baldassarri (Pons HP40), seventh, and Francesco Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46) only eighth at Montmelò but still leader of the standing.
Next round of the MotoGP World Championship is TT Assen, in the Netherlands, on July 1st.
