MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: DOMINO RULER AT SACHSENRING
Another weekend with outstanding results for Domino, on track with the MotoGP World Championship at Sachsenring, Germany, for the mid-season round.
In a weekend full of twists and turns, the company conquered Moto3 and Moto2 podium.
Amazing triplete in Moto2. Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) became the third South African rider to achieve the success in the intermediate category, 38 years after Kork Ballington. The rookie Joan Mir (EG 0.0 Marc VDS) finished second, while Luca Marini (SKY Racing Team VR46) got his first podium thanks to a great third position. Miguel Oliveria (KTM) finished fourth. Eight place for Simone Corsi (Tasca Racing Scuderia Moto2) and ninth for Fabio Quartararo (Beta Tools - Speed Up Racing). It’s a shame for Bagnaia: he had a comeback race and finished 12th.
In Moto3 John McPhee (CIP - Green Power) got a beautiful third place behind an uncatchable Martin and a brave Bezzecchi. This is the first seasonal podium for the British rider, the sixth in his career. Bester Capital Dubai riders Marcos Ramirez and Jaume Masia finished fourth and sixth. Between the two, fifth position for the Spanish Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0.0). The Japanese Ayumu Sasaki (Petronas Sprinta Racing) closes the top ten.
Now the usual summer break: the MotoGP World Championship will be back at the track on August 5th at Brno.
