MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: DOMINO IS LEADER OF MOTO2 CLASS WITH PASINI

Second round of the MotoGP World Championship at Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit, in Argentina. Another amazing weekend for Domino, that ruled the weekend conquering the podium in all the three classes.

In Moto2 outstanding race for Italtrans Racing Team. 23 laps of tension, struggle, dreams and passion. An incredible Grand Prix, ruled by Mattia Pasini from start to finish. A success with an intense flavour, deserved, wanted, off the charts, conquered at the end of a hard-fought race with another Domino rider: Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo). Starting fast from the second row, Mattia moved from fourth to first after only 3 laps. Lucid and determined, he kept an incredible pace for the whole races, without leave anything to chance, resisting the Oliveira’s continuous attacks and conquering an extraordinary victory. A special day for Mattia, who got this success on his 100th race in Moto2. Thanks to the fourth position in Qatar and Argentina’s victory, Pasini and Domino are leaders of the World standing with 38 points.

Good performance for Lorenzo Baldassarri (Pons HP40) too, fourth at the end of a thrilling fight for the podium. Seventh position for Joan Mir (EG 0.0 Marc VDS).

Podium in Moto3 with Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0.0), who finished second after a great duel with Di Giannantonio. Close to the top three Enea Bastianini (Leopard Racing) and Adam Norrodin (Petronas Sprinta Racing), respectively fourth and fifth. Seventh position for Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing), eight for Niccolò Antonelli (Sic58 Squadra Corse) and tenth for the poleman Tony Arbolino (Marinelli Rivacold Snipers).

Finally, in MotoGP extraordinary podium with Alex Rins. In a GP conditioned by the weather and a strange start, Team Suzuki Ecstar rider led a careful race, battling first with Miller and then with the duo Zarco-Crutchlow.

Next round is the Grand Prix of the Americas, scheduled on April 22nd at Austin Circuit, Texas.
