MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: DOMINO ON INDIANAPOLIS PODIUM WITH DE ANGELIS
30/08/2009 - In this weekend at the end of August great satisfaction for Domino: on Indianapolis track, in the USA, the rider from San Marino Alex De Angelis has gone on the second step of the podium after a competition all to be frame.
The rider of San Carlo Honda Gresini Team has conquered his first podium in MotoGP: after a not bright start and some laps behind Edwards, Alex has succeeded in passing over the American rider of Yamaha conquering the second position, also taking advantage from the falls of Dani Pedrosa and Valentino Rossi.
“My first thought goes to my team for the great work done in this weekend. The bike has been perfect thin from the first tests on Friday and more and more it improved” – the comment of Alex at the end of the competition – “It’s a great result that arrives after a hard work of adjustment: since five races we were giving the best to find the perfection. It’s long time since my last podium in 250 class and now I’m feeling something great. I’m so satisfy about my result but I also have to think about next weekend, when I will race my home competition”.
Next date with the MotoGP World Championship is on September 6th in Italy. |
