This ninth test of the Superbike World Championship is a GP to be framed for the American Ben Spies and Yamaha World Superbike Team. In Great Britain, on Donington track, Spies has conquered a double victory that opened again the struggle for the world title. In fact the 50 points conquered has allowed Spies to reduce to 14 his gap from the leader Noriyuki Haga in the world classification. Spies has not had adversaries in the two competitions; started in the lead of both the races, has raced solitary toward the chess flag with an unbearable rhythm for the other riders, who can do anything to catch up him. Good Race 2 of Tom Sykes: despite the withdrawal of Race 1 due to a fall, the English rider has succeeded in conquering the fifth position in Race 2.
