New Domino quick throttle control for Ducati Desmosedici RR
06/11/2007 - Domino production range of throttle controls has been enriched by a new throttle control specially produced for the famous sports Ducati Desmosedici RR. It is not simply a “quick” throttle control, but also a real masterpiece. It is the result of a long study implying a closed cooperation between Domino researchers and engineers and Ducati designers, eager to give an even more exclusive Made in Italy identity to the performing twin-cylinder Desmosedici RR of the Company of Borgo Panigale. The throttle control body stands out for being produced in die-cast aluminium alloy. This new throttle control ensures maximum mechanical resistance to the hardest shocks and torsions. It suffers from neither the season temperature changes nor the corrosion of the atmospheric agents. Any other element of this new throttle control is produced with the most advanced thermoplastic materials compound. Therefore it is very resistant to any kind of stress. It has zinc plated steel bolts and screws. Its two throttle cable exit is parallel to the handlebar. Its throttle opening is 71° and the stroke 22 mm. The activation of the “choke” blocking lever allows the right idling engine warm-up.
